THE ST. LOUIS SCHOOL SAYS “THE DEVAL IS IN THE DETAILS” AS SOME DEMOCRATS PLAN TO DISENFRANCHISE VOTERS

Scott Brown has a great chance to defeat state Attorney General Martha Coakley for Ted Kennedy’s senate seat in Massachusetts.  This has the Democratic leadership worried, but instead of trying to get the state excited about Coakley they are already planning to steal  Brown’s vote.  Interim senator Paul Kirk said that he expected health care reform to pass, regardless of the race’s outcome.

“We want to get this resolved before President Obama’s State of the Union address in early to mid-February” asserted Kirk.   By saying we, he is apparently talking about him and the Democratic “Powers that Be”, as Representative Conyers refers to them as [when he wants an excuse not to investigate ACORN].

Why are they talking about this now?  They obviously do not have a lot of confidence in Coakley, even though she is a Democrat running for a seat in a Deep Blue district.  They realize that even their liberal base cannot be counted on to support their agenda.  And her ties to ACORN and poor speaking performances are turning turning off a lot of independent and undecided voters.

And Brown is an attractive, principled candidate that is running a vibrant campaign.

Massachusetts state officials say that because it  is a federal election, it will take at least ten days to certify the winner.

The Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin has not issued a specific statement on this matter, but considering that Kirk was hand-picked by Governor Deval it is obvious that there is an understanding between them on faux care.  Galvin did suggest his leanings on the issue when he said that certification of the January 19 winner would “take a while”.

A spokesman from his office say that it takes at least ten days to certify the winner. Yet this is inconsistent with the certificationof  Representative Niki Tsongas, who won a special election on October 16, 2007.  Tsongas was sworn in two days later, allowing the Democrat to vote to override George Bush’s veto on the expansion of SCHIP.

The Boston Herald reports:

This is a stunning admission by Paul Kirk and the Beacon Hill political machine,” said Brown in a statement. “Paul Kirk appears to be suggesting that he, Deval Patrick, and (Senate Majority Leader) Harry Reid intend to stall the election certification until the health care bill is rammed through Congress, even if that means defying the will of the people of Massachusetts. As we’ve already seen from the backroom deals and kickbacks cut by the Democrats in Washington, they intend to do anything and everything to pass their controversial health care plan. But threatening to ignore the results of a free election and steal this Senate vote from the people of Massachusetts takes their schemes to a whole new level. Martha Coakley should immediately disavow this threat from one of her campaign’s leading supporters.”

The Greyfalcon condemns this kind of collusion, and warns the Statists cabal that concerned citizens are getting fed up with their treachery.

St. Louis conservative Caroline Mueller sums up the situation with her observation that “The Deval is in the details”.  The governor should be working to make sure that which ever candidate wins gets to vote on the health care bill, and the Congress should not be trying to get the bill passed just to avert the vote of someone who might win.  She also said that this is making her very angry at the Democrats.  These are the people Senate Majority Leader Reid should be paying attention to, not Al Sharpton.

Mueller’s has recently reported on her Facebook page that polls have Brown now leading 48-47%.  Caroline’s page is great place to get political updates, and we highly recommend it.

Unlike you Mr. Reid, there are many of us lile Caroline Mueller who are in touch with what is going one with the American people, and there are severe consequences for you and your lot if you do not start acting in a more responsible manner.
