SUPREME COURT RULES IN FAVOR OF FREE SPEECH FOR COPORATIONS AND UNIONS

The Greyfalcon applauds the Supreme Court for ruling removing unfair limitations on cooperations and unions ability to spend freely on political campaigns.  The ruling 5-4, removed a one hundred year old restriction on such spending.  Chuck Schumer said that “with the stroke of the pen” cooperations were given an unfair advantage, and the Democratic leadership is already talking about trying pass legislation to perseve as much of the status quo as possible.  They say this gives Republicans an unfair advantage, but the truth is that it merely makes things a little more even.

Despite the previous rule, the Democratic left had a substantial advantage in coöperate advocacy for their favored candidates.   The big money that favors the left control the following industries:

All three major networks.  GE’s use of NBC  news operation is particularly disturbing.

Music recording cooperations.

The American Bar Association

The National Education Association. It has  them billions to cover up the damage they have done to our public school system.

The movie production houses.

Most of the major newspapers.

If one were to assess the value of the favorable coverage and culture based endorsements that Obama received from these firms, it would far exceed the 4 to 1 spending advantage he had over John McCain.

Good thing Clarence Thomas stayed strong and Antonia Scalia decided to stick around for a while.
