CHICKEN ANYONE? POLITCAL CORRECTNESS GET TO THE POINT OF THE ABSURD

The staff chef for the television show 30 Rock decided to serve fried chicken as the dish of the day for Black History Month.  The public relations and producers went nuts, fearing that they would be viewed as “feeding” into a negative stereotype of blacks as chicken and biscuit eating samboos.  On one problem, what they obviously did not know at the time of their initial objection, was that this chef was a black woman. 

And the woman had picked a dish to celebrate Black History Month for 8 years. So what is different about this year…….. Oh yeah, the Yankees finally won the World no …….  Oh wait this is the first year we had a black president, a president who is defended by many of his supporters on the basis of his race.

I thought that the”historic” presidency was going to make everybody more comfortable, more understanding.  Now, executives and pr people are telling a black woman chef that she is offending black people by serving what she eats to white people.
